Key Slot Screws (2) # 10 - 1.25" Combo or Philips Head Poly Bagged

$1.99 Unit Cost

Key Slot Screws

Both the MPWH and the BPK contain key slots as a mounting option. Key Slots allow both components to be quickly and securely mounted and removed. Similar to Locking Strips, Key Slot Screws are often permanently mounted in several locations to be immediately available when needed. Key Slot screws can also be used as mounting screws for the BPK.

Key Slot Screws (KS-1.25) are packed two per poly bag in each of the MPWH and BPK Accessory Kits. Permanent installation of Key Slot screws makes carrying replacement packs a smart idea.  Replenish Accessory Kits with Key Slot screws as you would with Prep Wipes, Primer Sticks and Locking Strips.

Tip: Always carry one or two bags of Key Slot screws in your Accessory Kits.

Q:  Can Key Slot Screws be permanently installed?

A:  Yes they can.  The portability of the Weapon Holding System allows you to use it in dozens of locations.  Having Key Slot screws and Locking Strip in place in locations you frequent is a smart idea.

Q: Can Key Slot screws be used for anything besides Key Slots?

A: Yes.  In many locations they can be used to mount the BPK.  In addition to the two key slots, the BPK has five countersunk mounting holes that allow you to mount the BPK on any plane.  Depending on the surface you are mounting to, Key Slot screws work extremely well as mounting screws.

Tip: Always test the sturdiness of the MPWH or BPK after you mount it.  Do this before securing your weapon in the system.

Tip: Always carry a full MPWH & BPK Accessory Kit when in the field. They only weigh about an ounce.
